Where it works

One country, and the reason is more useful than a map

Citaline is built for Australian businesses and runs on an Australian number. It is not available anywhere else, and that is a fact about what has been built rather than about where we would like to sell.

Today

Australia

An Australian number, and an Australian voice
An Australian English voice; a Mandarin one since 26 August, and a Cantonese one since 11 September. In tests, not yet on a call from a real caller. A caller who hears an obviously overseas accent on a local business’s line often just hangs up.
Built around New South Wales practice
The first firm is in Sydney, and the working assumptions — business hours, public holidays, the way a client asks about a settlement — came from a real practice rather than a template.
The call is not entirely processed in Australia
What a caller says is turned into words, and understood, outside Australia; the voice they hear is made here. Your caller is not told that yet: the wording for it has to be settled by a lawyer before the line speaks it, and that has not happened — so today the only place it is written down is here. Region-locking is designed and not built, so if you need a written data-residency guarantee, we do not have one for you yet.

Why not more

A country is a set of rules, not a flag on a map

What actually differs between countries is what a caller must be told before the conversation starts — that they are speaking with an AI, whether anything is recorded, and where their words are processed. Every country draws those lines differently, and getting them wrong is not a bug you can patch afterwards.

The rules were designed to be settings

The decision that governs this says adding a country should be a configuration and a reviewed script, never a code change. That was the right call and it is why the answer here is ‘not approved yet’ rather than ‘not possible’.

The settings are built. The wording is not.

The opening sentence now comes from configuration rather than being fixed in the software, so adding a country is a setting plus a reviewed script — and so is letting a business give the line its own name. What is missing is the script itself, which is the point below and is not ours to write.

We do intend to, with no date attached

That is the honest shape of it — an intention, not a timeline. Nobody here will name a quarter, because the thing below is not done and it was never ours to finish.

And somebody has to check the wording

Not us, and not an AI. A lawyer in that country has to approve what the caller is told. We would rather say that plainly than launch somewhere and find out.

If you are not in Australia

Tell us anyway

We are not going to put your country on a roadmap with a date on it — nothing here has one. But knowing which country, and what a caller there has to be told, is what turns this from a maybe into a decision.

Next step

A 20-minute call, and you’ll know

We’ll go through the questions your reception answers twenty times a week, and what it would take to have them answered properly at 7pm on a Friday.

No deck. If it isn’t a fit, we’ll say so on the call.

Email the person who built it. You’ll get a reply from a human.
